Wake up to the Best View on Dartmoor

Located on the second and third floor of the house, are our brand new Scandinavian inspired luxuriously appointed bedrooms, each individually styled and with their own contemporary bathroom. They have been rated exceptional and currently have a 5* rating from Visit England.

Yarner’s rooms boast extremely comfortable king-sized beds, with crisp Egyptian cotton bedlinen, fresh plump pillows, fluffy towels, White Company toiletries and flowers grown and picked seasonally from the garden. Coffee and tea amenities are available in each room, plus a DAB radio fitted with iPod playing facilities and a small safe. The rooms are fitted with a wardrobe and hangers plus slippers for all our guests to make you feel at home. A flat screen TV, board and card games are available for all our guests to use in the communal living room upstairs.

The third floor rooms are self-contained with a self-catering kitchen and large sitting room. The open-plan kitchen includes a beautifully finished wooden dining table with seating for 6, allowing guests to dine at leisure, relax and enjoy this space with friends or loved ones. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs.

We have a stunning living room area that enjoys the benefit of a wall to wall skylight, this is a lovely place to kick-back and unwind. With comfortable sofas, flat screen TV* and plenty of classic board games, or just simply a peaceful haven to drink your morning coffee, sit and read the newspapers.
At Yarner you’ll hear birdsong so beautiful we’ve deliberately left the bedrooms TV-free. What could be better than the ambient sounds of nature on your doorstep. We invite you to step out of your hectic life switch off from your devices and allow yourselves to unwind.

We have a fantastic relationship with our neighbours down the Valley at Ullacombe farm, just 20 minute’s walk or 3 minute’s drive. Here they have a wonderful farm shop where guests can peruse their organic, local produce including Dartmoor reared meat from their brand new butcher shop on site.

There are plenty of award winning local pubs and restaurants, scenic walks and tor climbing up on Dartmoor, all a short distance from the house. Information packs and leaflets are available to help guide you in and around Yarner House and its environs. We also offer ample safe parking outside the house and can offer safe storage of bikes too.

We’re proud to have reached the finals of the Muddy Stilettos Awards 2017. Click here for more.
